Casting Calls 

One of the most challenging task for any actor is the seeming endless hours spent getting ready for, going to, and participating in auditions or casting calls.

Now the thing that makes this dreadful task all the more unsavory is the fact that you are faced with Rejection, time after time!

But take hart! Even though you may not get the part at the casting call, does not mean that it was or should be a wasted endeavor.

Every casting call... every audition that you go on presents you with an opportunity to meet new people that are working in the business. Yes Virginia it does matter who you know!

You need to go into each casting call with the attitude that there is more at steak here than just landing the part.

Sure that would be great but there is story after story of actors getting a part or getting a call to read for a part in another play or film months later because they were seen by a casting director at some audition that they did months before.

Casting calls are an essential part of an actors world.

Each is an opportunity to "Network" and for taking that next step to making your dreams of becoming a professional actor a reality!
